Starting this blog is something I’ve always wanted to do, even though I’ve often asked myself, “Who would want to hear anything about me?” Recently, I’ve been forced to face this question head on as many people I thought would always be in my life have slowly outgrown their place in it. Despite this, I firmly believe that God allows everything for a greater purpose. I’m a born again Christian, still finding my way but deeply rooted in God’s word (Psalm 119:105). I’m a proud mom of two beautiful girls and one heavenly angel I never got to meet who knows, maybe it would have been the boy I always dreamed of. I’m dating an incredible man, and I trust that he will soon be the amazing husband God has in store for me. You may wonder, “She has two daughters but isn’t married doesn’t that contradict God’s word?” I get it, which is why I decided to name this blog Stepping Stones to Faith. My heart has been torn, and who doesn’t need a little grace in their journey? Through sharing my story both the past and present I hope you’ll see that I’m far from perfect. But through my relationship with Christ, I’ve overcome so much. So, while I may not be exactly where I want to be, I am forever grateful that I’m no longer where I used to be.
